Depression
You can be subject to the dark cloud
of depression as you look around and see your present circumstances. Maybe you
are having to live in a public shelter or depending upon handouts from others.
You may feel very alone, and like help is coming very slowly, or not at all.
It is said that depression is anger turned inward. Whatever is turned inward
and causing you to experience helplessness, turn it toward God. Cry out to Him
as honestly as you can. Don't worry about saying a perfect prayer; only let your
deepest emotions out to Him. He cares for you and His compassion will not fail
you. |

they?”

Heavenly Father, I thank you that you are my lamp, and you enlighten my darkness.
You are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my strength in whom I will trust.
I know that as I cry out to you in my affliction, you answer me. You are my refuge,
and underneath are your everlasting arms. Let not my heart be troubled, for I
believe in you. In Jesus' name – Amen.
