Fear

When such a disaster as you have experienced happens, you can feel so vulnerable. Maybe you've been saying, “I never thought this would happen to me”. God knows fear can torment us, whether it is in reliving the nightmare of what has happened in our thoughts and dreams, or the fear of the future. The love of God is the cure for all your fears. God loves you so much He gave His only Son to die for your sins. If He loves you enough to do that, He will surely give you whatever help you need now.

Dear Lord,
I thank you that you are my refuge and my strength. I thank you that you are a present help in trouble. Thank you for being my light, my salvation, and the strength of my life; whenever I feel afraid. I will trust in you. Even if I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not be afraid, for you are with me. Thank you, that when I seek you, you hear me and deliver me from all my fears. In Jesus name – Amen.
